What Fitmatto does
You don't buy a treadmill, a set of dumbbells or a GPS watch every month, and prices differ a lot between shops and offers. Fitmatto puts them side by side. Every product has one page with all its versions: weight, size and colour, each with its own EAN code or the manufacturer's item number.
A price belongs to exactly one version: we never compare a 12 kg kettlebell with a 16 kg one, or a running shoe in size 42 with size 44. We show shop prices only once we have checked them for the exact version; if the version is not clear, we show no price rather than guess.
Independent
Fitmatto doesn’t sell anything and isn’t affiliated with the brands on this site. We use brand names to describe what is in the catalogue, not to suggest a partnership.
The order of products and prices is not for sale.
Not a test lab
We do not test machines, shoes or watches ourselves. We show what the manufacturer states, such as the weight, the material, the maximum user weight, a treadmill's running deck and a watch's battery life. Train safely: read the manufacturer's manual and safety information, and ask a doctor or trainer when in doubt.
Who makes Fitmatto
Fitmatto is an initiative of Made by Spin, based in the north of the Netherlands (Noord-Nederland; KvK 01129853, VAT ID NL001458795B62). You can reach us at info@fitmatto.com.
A comparison site by Made by Spin
Fitmatto is one of the comparison sites of Made by Spin. Made by Spin builds and runs a network of price comparison sites, each for its own kind of product, on one shared platform with the same rules for every site.
You can read more about Made by Spin and its other sites at https://madebyspin.com.
How we earn money
Fitmatto is free and sells nothing itself. We earn affiliate commission: if you follow a link to a shop and buy something there, that shop pays us a share of the purchase. These links run through an address on Fitmatto that starts with /out/.
The price you pay at the shop stays the same: the shop pays the commission, not you. How much commission a shop pays plays no part in the order of products and prices.
How we compare
- Exact products: a price belongs to exactly one version, identified by its EAN or the manufacturer’s part number. If that is not clear-cut, we show no price rather than guess.
- Only real price drops: we only call a price a drop when it is lower than the same shop’s lowest price in the 30 days before.
- In stock first: offers you can order now are listed above sold-out ones.
